From October 20 to 21, the 2026 (9th) International Tube Advanced Intelligent Manufacturing and Application Technology Annual Conference and the 6th AI Computing Server Liquid Cooling Technology Industry Development Conference were held in Hangzhou. BAOD EXTRUSION participated in this grand event with our high-precision tube extrusion equipment solutions, engaging in in-depth exchanges with industry experts and supply chain partners.
Industry Observation: Material Substitution and Structural Upgrades as Core Topics:
- During the thematic seminars of the conference, material upgrades and structural optimization of tube systems emerged as an industry consensus, mainly reflected in two cutting-edge directions:
- • "Plastic Replacing Rubber" in EV Cooling Lines: To meet vehicle lightweighting and environmental requirements, thermoplastic elastomers such as TPV (Thermoplastic Vulcanizate) are rapidly replacing traditional EPDM rubber. This material is extremely sensitive to processing temperature and shear force during extrusion, placing higher demands on the equipment's plasticizing system.
- • Multi-dimensional Stringent Requirements for AI Liquid Cooling Lines: With the increase in computing density, liquid cooling systems have put forward comprehensive requirements for tubes, including mechanical stability, material compatibility, high cleanliness, and low permeability. To meet low permeability standards, tubes are evolving towards multi-layer co-extrusion structures.
BAOD Solutions: Empowering New Material Applications with Precision Processes
At the exhibition, the BAOD technical team had in-depth exchanges with attendees on the aforementioned process challenges. Leveraging over 20 years of extrusion technology heritage, BAOD equipment possesses mature practical capabilities in processing new materials:
- Customized Plasticizing Solutions for Heat-Sensitive Materials like TPV: By optimizing the barrier screw configuration and high-precision multi-zone temperature control system, we ensure uniform and gentle plasticization of the material in the barrel, effectively preventing scorching and degradation, and ensuring high smoothness of the inner wall.
- Precision Multi-layer Co-extrusion Technology for Liquid Cooling Lines: Through high-precision co-extrusion die heads and vacuum sizing systems, we achieve efficient compounding of barrier and reinforcement layers.
- Full-process Automated Quality Control: Integrated with in-line vision inspection and precision cutting systems, we monitor tube diameter and surface defects in real-time, helping customers improve mass production yield rates.
Continuous Follow-up and Deepening Technical Alignment
The dual conferences reflect that the tube industry is accelerating its transformation towards new materials and high precision. Although the exhibition has concluded, technical exchanges continue. Currently, the BAOD team is conducting internal evaluations of the various technical requirements collected on-site.
